Proof of Address required from May 22, 2026
- Starting May 22, 2026, Proof of Address (PoA) will be required for all KYC/KYB submissions via the API and Dashboard
- US/Canada residents can submit a government-issued ID with address e.g. Drivers License
- Users approved before May 22 will not be affected
- This change will speed up verification and significantly reduce Requests for Information (RFIs), improving your compliance experience
- Screenshots are now accepted for PoA submissions, making it easier to submit digital documents such as utility bills or bank statements without converting them into formal PDFs

- We’re introducing a new required field,
accountHolder.isFintech, to the Create an Account endpoint.- If
accountHolder.isFintech = true→ the account will be flagged for review - From there, the intended use case must be clearly defined (e.g., treasury management, invoice payments, internal fund movement)
- Payment flows will be assessed to ensure they are not nested or pass-through in nature
- If
- What this means for you:
- End users who intend to send funds must be onboarded directly onto the HIFI platform through the full KYB process.
- Payments should not be pooled and processed on behalf of end users, as this constitutes a nested flow. All end users must be onboarded and their transactions processed from their named account

Proof of Address Automation for KYC Process
The Proof of Address (PoA) request process has been streamlined to reduce email dependency whilst improving turnaround time.- KYC PoA RFIs will no longer trigger email notifications

Transaction Approvals for Offramps
Transaction approvals are now available for offramp transactions. You can require approval before executing offramp transactions (stablecoin to fiat conversions) to add an extra layer of security and compliance control.Dashboard Approvals:- Members can now initiate offramp transactions
- All member-initiated offramp transactions will always enter the transaction approval flow and require Admin approval
- Offramp transactions will enter the transaction approval flow only if
requireApproval: trueis set in the request body
- For offramps that enter the transaction approval flow, quotes are generated after approval to prevent quotes from expiring while awaiting review. This matches the behavior for bridging transfers.
- Expiration times: Transactions in
PENDING_APPROVALstatus will automatically expire if not approved or rejected:- Onchain transfers (wallet transfers, batch transfers, bridging): Expire after 1 week
- Offramps: Expire after 1 day
Instant Onramps
